Self portrait (2019)
Description:
This is me painted in the way that I like to paint portraits by using only blue, red and yellow the three primary colours along with a lot of titanium white. I allow the colours to mix so that I can achieve the greens and oranges. Using titanium white allows me to achieve the different shades of colours that I might need.

Norwich Market in the rain
Description:
Acrylic painting on canvas-board, ready to frame. This is painted from a photo taken by my neice of Norwich market on a rainy day. the vibrancy of the flowers against the rain attracted me. I may have taken a little artistic leeway in colours and changing the buildings to suit - I'm an artist, its allowed ;-)

Portrait of Gail

This is a portrait of my friend Gail which she commissioned me to paint for her. It stands proudly on the a wall in her house and is much admired by her family. I have included it in this gallery as I feel it to be a good example (along with the other two) of my technique in painting portraits.
