Horses in a Snow Field
Rugged horses turned out in the snow. One horse is rolling whilst the other stands alert in the foreground. Their tracks form a path from a tree on the horizon through which the sunlight is streaming. Bright colours express sunlight on snow. Acrylic on canvas, the painting extends down the sides so there is no need to frame.

Fantasy Fly Agaric Dryad Forest
A poisoned man lays dead in a forest where fly agaric dryads flit between the trees . A surreal passing of time is indicated by the falling autumn leaves and snow drifts which also contrast in their colours of blue and violet against orange and red. Acrylic ink, gouache and watercolour on thick watercolour paper mounted on black sprayed with silver, the size does not include the mount.
Owl in Treestump
Black Cat & Yellow Butterfly
A black cat is depicted against a pitch black background by highlighting features, particularly the eyes. The yellow of the eyes is echoed in the yellow butterfly in the foreground at which the cat is intently staring. A blue / purple midfield set off the yellow to create a striking image. Acrylic on canvas with painted sides so there is no need to frame.
Tree Shadows on Snow & Roe Deer
The shadows of trees falling across a field covered in snow are represented using strong shades of blue, violet and indigo in a n impressionistic style. A roe deer is running across the field. Dominated by blues this evokes a cold, crisp winters day with sun shining on the snow. Acrylic on canvas the sides are painted so there is no need to frame.
