Saskia Skoric's Gallery
Gallery About the Artist
Saskia has produced a highly textured feast for the eyes in thickly painted oils. This was a relatively new technique that Saskia began experimenting with in 2016. Being completely seduced by this style, Saskia is currently only using this technique and doesn't wish to use paintbrushes for some time to come.
SUNFLOWERS SUNSET (Finger painting)
Saskia is focusing and perfecting the new and exciting technique of finger painting. This allows Saskia to work with heavily applied oils straight onto the canvas, creating a wonderful thick texture. The thickness of the oils adds a new dimension to the painting giving the viewer a more stimulating experience.
Poppy Field ( Finger Painting)
Poppies of Summer
Poppy field ( Finger Painting)
Windy Meadow ( Finger Painting)
Saskia has been producing a few smaller canvases and has been focusing on landscapes. The unusual technique of finger painting is something she is passionate about. Saskia has taken up finger painting as she enjoys the relationship between the paint and application as it allows the paint to be thickly textured making for a more effective impressionist painting.
