Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce Tribe was the first American Indian that I painted.
The first time I did a portrait of Chief Joseph was in graphite pencil. It was the head dress and all the detail that attracted me to draw him.
Years later I have painted him using FW Acrylic Ink in a monochrome style.
