Title: polarised chaos
Description: This piece is part of a collection inspired by the building process within an environment or landscape. By reducing various materials to their simplest forms, a series of beautiful lines and organic shapes remain. The works are painted digitally and produced on 3mm gloss laminated dibond aluminium. This allows them to be displayed both indoors and outdoors, resonating with the environment as they were intended.

Having recently returned to professional art, I find myself producing more work digitally, which is surprising as I tend to repel technology! The beauty of digital media is the instant scalability and my preference is for large format pieces to truly 'dress' an environment. I am inspired by the reduced, the abstract and anything textural. I do a lot of commission work as my pieces can have quite a broad appeal, and whilst I work generally in monochrome or a very muted colour palette, I have been persuaded on occasion to go bold with colour. I work mainly with gloss laminated dibond aluminium as this material can be displayed both indoors and outdoors which I find a liberating concept. I can work with canvas also, it's just a matter of personal preference.
As my work is so scalable, I am able to produce pieces up to 2.4m x 1.4m approximately. If you wish to discuss any commission work, please contact me. Any of the pieces shown in this portfolio can be customised according to colour preferences, size, scale etc. International postage can be quoted upon request.
