My paintings are invitations to find quiet among noise and bustle, peaceful
places on the canvas where the eye and the mind can rest. The layers reflect
the dense jungle undergrowth of Malaysia where I was raised; the colours are
sunlight and the shadows are the dank and the dark under the forest canopy.
Layers take on new forms, writhing and shifting until finding their place on the
canvas.
When you seek life and colour and movement, you can find it. Seek peace
and it is there but you must search for it.
