'Miles Away' is a graphite pencil drawing on Bristol board. A close up portrait of an Asiatic lion for which I used a reference photograph taken by Gary Jones. This is a very striking and haunting portrait which captures a moment of deep thought and reflection and I hope shows a different side to the personality of these magnificent creatures. Measuring approximately 16.5 x 11.5 inches (A3) this drawing is presented in a white mount within a silk finished charcoal black frame with bright silver sight edge to a total size of approximately 24 x 19 inches, ready to hang.
