An original oil painting by Tony Broadbent.

Using vibrant colours for effect, warmth and mood, I bring this slightly surreal skyscape into your home. It is there to provide an uplift, a change and a promise of better things to come, hence the title. A technical but fun painting none the less.

It makes a statement and cannot fail but to be observed, it commands attention in a nice way and is both easy and complicated. I enjoyed painting this one. Please note its size it is 84 inches wide ( 7 feet ) x 20 inches on box canvas.

Painted using St. Petersburg White Nights watercolour tubes, highest quality single pigments with honey. Includes certificate of authenticity and poem printed on coloured card to compliment the Artwork: FALLING WATER WITH 7 COLOURS FROM THE SKY. They didn't know what is was, it's coloured and it stretches so high; who named it a rainbow? Those colours in the sky. Who named anything? We're still inventing words now; or changing their meaning! A human is a creator from the North Pole to the Equator!

Inspired by a view over rooftops in a far off land. I loved the changing colours, bold and vibrant reflecting the sunshine.

Even the shadows and general - feel - gave me the sense of well being and contentment, all this from something mundane and simple.
