Olly The Octopus is a little different to my usual paintings.it could not be repeated no matter how many times you tried..

It comes in a black mount ready to frame for your room.. and measures 20cm x 15cm mounted.
Encaustic wax is a unique way of creating completely different paintings-- it is not 100% controllable -which makes it very interesting to work with..
I use an electric iron to melt the wax and 'paint' the picture using the iron. and love the unpredictable nature of it.

Description:
Hope is one of Ros's original seascape painting depicting a passing storm with an atmosphere of hope in the sky and the calming of the waters. It has a great deal of presence and unfortunately the limitations of dispay on the web mean you miss a lot of the subtle, but important detail in this atmospheric painting. Will compliment most decors and would sit equally well in a modern contemporary, or more traditional setting.
