Description: I painted this beautiful lady using my hands and fingers only: pressing the colour into the textured surface (created with special texture paste and wood chippings) and mixing the colours on the canvas, then drawing the lines with my fingers and using a little soft pastel to lighten them. Painted straight from a life drawing which I created from the live model just a week beforehand. It is on a deep-edged canvas so that no frame is necessary.
