The Stream at Golden Acre.
Contemporary painting of sailing yachts. Warm browns and sepia tones have been used to create this modern painting with clean white horses visible as the boats plough through the waves, catching a strong wind. The paint has been applied in layers to add a textured look and feel to this modern and contemporary painting. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it is ready for immediate hanging. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge box canvas.
A vibrant sunset seascape inspired by holidays in the Maldives and Phillipines. I love the effect of silhouetted trees against the natural firey colours at sunset. Warm graduated oranges, red and yellows make this sunset scene an interesting focal point for any room. The painting continues round the edges of the frame making this ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. This painting is protected with a silk varnish.
Eye-catching Lake view study in warming sepia tones. This was inspired by an early morning view over Lake Windermere in the Lake District shortly after dawn as the sun was rising. The painting continues round the edges of the painting so it comes ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. It has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
One of my new "large" range of canvases. If you'd like to commission a smaller version of this painting please get in touch. Fresh contemporary painting of forget-me-nots. The pinky purple flowers are set off against an abstract textured background of coffee, chocolatey swirls. The paint has been built up in layers to provide depth to this painting and a fresh modern feel.
The Land Of Lost Song
Sandstorm is one of my abstract swirl paintings which was inspired by a landscape. It suggested a sandstorm to me on completion, hence the title. It is painted in oils on all sides of a stretched canvas so can be hung without a frame. It can be framed if desired. Please contact me if you are interested in a gift voucher/certificate.
